Fun Homewares From Gorman
Gorman has fast become one of the most successful fashion brands in Australia, and now Lisa Gorman has designed an extensive new range of homewares. Her whimsical signature prints and distinctive colour palettes that we’ve all grown to love in her fashion label, have been translated beautifully through to her homeware range, entitled Gorman Home Time. You can see that cute pineapple and watermelon print pop up a few times throughout the range too! The collection consists of many collaborations with local creatives, and includes both ceramic tableware, mobiles, quilts, timber candlesticks and more. The entire range launches today, and can be found at The Galeries Gorman store in Sydney, and Chatswood Chase, as well as online! The range has that beautiful handmade aesthetic and comes in gorgeous bold colours … everything from the collection would make a perfect Christmas present!
Gorman Candles $39 – $99
When creating the collection Lisa Gorman wanted to “steer away from classic homewares offerings, and venture to new realms with a collection that creates a picture of a relaxed, functional, unique-looking home that’s definitely not shy of colour.” She uses lots of texture, washes and things that are “not too super serious”. When designing and producing her new homeware range, she got a little help from some local creatives, including the likes of ceramicist Connie Lichti, Charlie the wood turner and quilt maker Sarah Rowe. Lisa Gorman explains that the collaborations ” give that richness and diversity and interest to collections I believe. I become so inspired when I’m working with these people who have such knowledge and talent and experience doing their thing.”
