Inverted Warehouse Townhouse

This warehouse in Tribeca, NY was renovated by Dean/Wolf Architects and EJ Eunjeong Seong to create a tall, industrial townhouse with internal courtyards designed to allow ample light to filter down the levels to the lower rooms.

The combination of industrial materials like rusted metal cladding and beams, brick walls, concrete flooring, steel and glass emphasise the warehouse nature of the building while the application and design make it extremely contemporary and clever.
