A Wonderfully Unexpected Reno

Upon finding the story of this renovation in Adelaide, I was absolutely amazed at seeing the image of the front of the house, what an incredible surprise awaits for those who walk through that door!

The stunning renovation in Adelaide is by Troppo Architects.  I love the sustainable elements, and the incredible light filled bedroom on the mezzanine floor.

Street View Adelaide Victorian

The gorgeous Victorian front facade, left relatively untouched.

Adelaide Home Rear Facade

The incredible light filled rear renovation.  The property is north facing, and the projected roof is designed to allow the winter sun in, and keep out the hot summer sun.
The beautiful pool looks so tempting, but also assists with the passive cooling, cooling down the breeze that passes over it and into the home.

Adelaide Home, Living Room

The light filled space is open and airy, very different to the pokey dark space it was previously.

The selection of the warm toned timbers helps keep the large room inviting.

Adelaide Home Master Bathroom

The spacious and light filled master bathroom, the unusual sharp angles of the windows and doors are perfectly balances out by the curves of the toilet and vanity.
